C Developer

As part of our development team, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and teams covering a range of technologies and applications, including the core HAProxy team in Paris. Our primary stack includes C, Go, Python, Vue.js, Elasticsearch and more, but your focus will be on enhancing HAProxy in C-related projects. Your role: Participate in designing, planning and creating standalone programs or integrated components (and their documentation) for Open Source and/or commercial use in conjunction with the Open Source HAProxy Load Balancer software Improve and maintain existing and future programs and projects within a tightly knit team of expert developers Collaborate and contribute in a multicultural and multinational environment, with participants in different time-zones and from different parts of the world Provide technical input and participate in brainstorming sessions, both with your team and the community. You have at least five years of programming experience, and at least three of which are in C Since the rest of your team has it, Golang experience is a big plus All of our work is Linux-based, so experience with the system is highly valued Git experience is a must, while cloud environment experience is a bonus Written and verbal fluency in English is mandatory, while French is a nice bonus A CV in English A responsible, motivated and collaborative personality Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Good organizational skills.
