Senior Technical Implementation Consultant

We are looking for a senior implementer for one of our North American clients, someone that wants to focus on what they do best – building, configuring, and delivering complex system integrations hands-on, without the client-facing overhead, inside a team that values technical depth over everything else. Roles & Responsibilities Build and configure end-to-end integration flows – triggers, data transformations, error handling, retry behavior, and operational monitoring – taking ownership from initial design through to production. Work from Technical Specification documents to configure, build, and validate integrations within the EAM platform – no client interaction required. Own the technical workstream execution: configuration, data mapping, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities across assigned implementations. Partner with the development team during the build phase – clarifying spec intent, reviewing developer questions, validating builds against specs, and tracking QA iterations through to completion. Execute technical testing and internal QA across dev and test environments – reproduce defects, isolate root causes, and drive resolution. Investigate application behavior end-to-end using the underlying database, help files, and internal documentation to resolve how-it-works questions for the team. Maintain technical documentation – configuration guides, data mapping workbooks, test scripts, and reference materials – to a standard others can build on. Job Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience in technical implementation or integration engineering roles – you’ve owned deliverables end-to-end and have the depth to prove it. Strong SQL skills and comfort navigating unfamiliar relational schemas – MSSQL and Oracle experience required. Hands-on experience designing or building system-to-system integrations – REST and SOAP APIs, file-based interfaces (delimited, fixed-width, XML), database-to-database integrations, and event-driven workflows. Comfortable reading and writing XML, JSON, and basic scripting (Python or equivalent) for data transformation and inline expression logic. Able to read and reason about technical documentation, API specs, vendor integration guides, data dictionaries, and sample code independently. Sharp troubleshooting instincts – you work methodically, dig past symptoms, and don’t need hand-holding to find answers. Experience working inside professional services or software delivery environments alongside cross-functional implementation teams.
